This Privacy Policy explains how the Banner for the Website Chrome extension (the “Service”) handles information. The extension is designed to work in a local, controlled context and to avoid collecting personal data.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Banner for the Website does not:

  • Collect your name, email address, or other direct identifiers
  • Store your browsing history or the full content of pages you visit
  • Record, upload, or stream your designs, banners, or SVG code
  • Collect payment or financial information
  • Sell data to third parties or use it for advertising profiling

3. Information We May Use Locally

  • Extension settings: Layout presets, size choices, and interface preferences may be stored using browser storage so the extension can remember your preferred workflow.
  • Design context: The extension analyzes the active page’s structure, colors, and tone in-memory to propose banners that match your site. This context is used only to generate banners and is not sent to our servers.

4. How We Use Information

Any information processed by the extension is used only to:

  • Generate and preview banners that match the current page
  • Apply your chosen presets, formats, and editor preferences

5. Data Storage and Security

Settings that need to persist between sessions are stored locally in your browser using standard extension storage mechanisms. You can remove this data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing your browser data.

6. Permissions

  • Active tab / page access: Used so the extension can read layout and style information necessary to propose banners.
  • Storage: Used to save non-sensitive settings such as presets and UI preferences.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be highlighted on the main site.
